Three bodies found on Ghat road in Guvvala Cheruvu

The bodies were in a high decomposed state. It appeared they were killed and the bodies dropped from the Ghat road about 10 days ago

ANANTAPUR: In mysterious circumstances, three bodies – of two males and a female -- were found at the 5th Diversion of Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat section in CK Dinne mandal of YSR district on Wednesday.

The bodies were in a high decomposed state. It appeared they were killed and the bodies dropped from the Ghat road about 10 days ago.

Kadapa DSP Vernkata Reddy said the locals alerted the police after the eruption of stench of decomposed bodies on the 5th diversion ghat road.

While the woman was around age 25, the two men were aged around 25 and 60 years. The woman wore a Nighty while one of the male body carried a shirt with a label, Good Will Tailors of Rayachoti. The old man had a tobacco sachet in a red bag.

The DSP said the person wore a silver chain on his neck while the woman wore pusala danda.

An alert was sounded on police stations of both YSR and Annamayya districts and people who recognise the deceased are advised to inform the CK Dinne police. The bodies were cremated after post mortem in the Ghat section of Guvvalacheruvu area on Wednesday.
