Bengaluru: 3 arrested for theft

The police have recovered 22 mobile phones, six LED TVs, 12 tablets, one laptop and other electronic items worth Rs 7.62 lakh in total.

Bengaluru: Jalahalli police have nabbed three people in connection with a theft at Girias showroom on Gokul main Road on February 24. With their arrest, the police also claim to have solved a burglary at Unilet showroom in T Dasarahalli on April 23.

The accused have been identified as Raju V (23) from Doddaballapur taluk, Ganesh (24) of Hosakote taluk and Ravi Prakash (58) of Hesaraghatta. The police have recovered 22 mobile phones, six LED TVs, 12 tablets, one laptop and other electronic items worth Rs 7.62 lakh in total. According to police the trio gained entry into Girias showroom from the terrace by breaking the window bars. The trio was arrested for theft at Girias showroom. “During the interrogation, they also confessed to having carried out theft of electronic items and cash from Unilet Home Appliances, the police said.
