Bengaluru: Robbers stab 20-year-old to death for his mobile, wallet

Bengaluru: A 20-year-old man was brutally stabbed to death by a few robbers who escaped with his mobile phone and wallet near Nayandhalli Metro Station on Thursday night.

The deceased, Rahul, was a resident of Mallathahalli and was working at a cinema theatre. Around 12.30 am, Rahul was returning home after finishing work when four to five people approached him and demanded his mobile phone and wallet. When he resisted, they attacked him with a knife.

They stabbed him in his stomach and chest and fled. Rahul was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. The police are investigating whether the attack was due to an old rivalry or robbery.

The Byatarayanapura police have collected the CCTV footage from surrounding areas and are examining it to identify the culprits.
