Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police has released pictures of three inter-state gang members who are involved in many cases in different police stations under the Rachakonda commissionerate.
The pictures of the Gujarat-based gang members have been circulated on social media to alert the public on their movement, the police said.
“Keeping in view the holiday season, we have initiated several preventive measures. This is part of such safety steps,” said Mr J. Narender Goud, inspector of Hayathnagar.
He said that the gang is active in burglaries. During Sankranti festival, many residents move out of their houses. The gang targets locked houses. Special teams are conducting patrolling round the clock. There are teams from wings in the commissionerate deployed for the duties. Awareness programs have also been conducted in different areas, said an official.
