Hyderabad: Three held for making fake certificates

Kumar approached Venkatesh to supply him fake rubber stamps of MNCs.

Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force team conducted a raid on Kab Technologies and Services for Overseas Institute at Koti and arrested three persons on Tuesday for making fake project completion certificates of MNCs for students of MBA, BBA and BTech.

The raid was conducted on Monday based on a tip-off received by the Task Force. The arrested trio were Vaddineni Naveen Kumar, 34, proprietor of Kab Technology, Kondamuri Balakrishna, 27, systems manager, and R. Venkatesh, 49, stamp maker, who made the fake certificates of companies such as Capitol IQ, Tata, Airtel, HDFC etc., police said.

“Naveen Kumar, an MBA graduate, used to make project reports for students. Kumar approached Venkatesh to supply him fake rubber stamps of MNCs, and then started making fake project completion certificates for students. System operator Balakrishna assisted him in the task.

Police seized three computers, one printer, 60 fake certificates, 60 rubber stamps, 16 fake project reports, 100 visiting cards and two mobiles from their possession and handed them over to Sultan Bazaar police for further probe.
