Drug peddling: 2 held, 4.5 kg ganja seized
The police picked up the duo from a house in Gutte Basaveshwar Nagar in Soladevanahalli.
Bengaluru: Soladevanahalli police have arrested two people for ganja peddling and recovered 4.5 kg of ganja worth lakhs of rupees from them.
The accused have been identified as Suvankar Biswas (19), hailing from Tripura and Raseek Sah (19), from Nepal.
The police picked up the duo from a house in Gutte Basaveshwar Nagar in Soladevanahalli. According to police, the duo was peddling ganja to college-going students and locals.
Based on a tip off, the police raided their house and seized the contraband. The police who have registered a case.
They, however, suspect that the two were mere pawns and many more were involved in the trade.
