BENGALURU: An elderly woman was robbed of her gold chain by two men on a bike at Mathikeri early on Wednesday morning.
They waylaid Sumithra, pushed her before snatching her chain, the police said. Sumithra was returning home after buying milk from a nearby shop, when the two men snatched her gold chain weighing 25 gm. Before she could get up and raise an alarm, the duo sped away, the police said.
The Yeshwanthpur police have taken up a case and are collecting CCTV footage to identify the chain-snatchers.
