Hyderabad: The Pahadishareef police arrested five persons for allegedly killing a youngster at Jalpally in broad daylight. The suspects had been earlier booked for attempt to murder.
Police officials found that the suspects had tried to secure a compromise but the victim was not willing to cooperate. Enraged by this, they plotted to murder Omar Amshan, who is also a history sheeter.
Pahadishareef police said the suspects, were led by Omar bin Hassan Bahamad, 23. Bahamad followed Amshan on September 19 and hit him on the head with an iron rod while overtaking his scooter at Jalapally. When Amshan fell down, the gang hit him till he died, and drove away.
Officials said that the families of suspects and the victim had a longstanding land dispute. They had attacked Amshan and his brother after which police booked a case., police said.
