Hyderabad: Plumber killed in bike accident
Hyderabad: Forty-two-year-old Tudum Nagesh who had set out on his bike to pick up his schoolgoing daughter, met with an accident that killed him on his way home on Tuesday evening.
Nagesh, a plumber, lived with his wife and two daughters in Kundanpally village.
On Tuesday evening, as it was raining heavily, Nagesh closed his shop early and drove to Kundapanlly crossroads roads to pick up his younger daughter who was to arrive on the school bus.
By the time Nagesh reached the spot his daughter had sought help from a neighbour and went home on his bike.
Nagesh then started for home and on the way picked up another person living in his neighbourhood. A bike heading in the opposite direction rammed into Nagesh’s bike.
Keesara sub-inspector Ravi Kumar Goud said that Nagesh was flung in the air and sustained a severe head injury which killed him instantly as he was not wearing a helmet.
The other biker, Srikanth, fled from the scene. Based on a complaint by Nagesh’s wife Pavani, a case has been registered.
