Hyderabad: Rachakonda Cyber Cell police arrested a 24-year-old man on Tuesday for posting private videos of a woman on porn websites.
The suspect, P. Sanjay, hailing from Prakasam district in AP, was working as a sound technician at a national level entertainment channel on outsourcing.
P. Sanjay came to the city some years ago in search of a job and was staying at Karkhana. While working in the channel, he came into contact with a woman while shooting a teleserial in Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district.
They both shared their contact numbers and started communicating frequently, which later lead to intimate conversations.
As they became close he lured the victim and made her show her privates during a video chat.
Without her knowledge he recorded those video conversations and later started blackmailing her to come on video call again and again, the police said.
But when she became angry he threatened to post her videos on porn sites.
When she did not give in to his demands he posted her videos on the porn sites.
He was arrested and remanded on Tuesday said Cybercrime inspector Mohd. Riyazuddin.
