Hyderabad: A 13-year-old girl was forcibly married off to a 30-year-old father of two in Rajendranagar police station limits. The marriage was arranged by the minor’s elder sister as their mother was not well. The 30-year-old, identified as Aziz Khan, was earlier married and has two kids.
“The marriage was performed against the girl's wishes and she is facing torture from the man who is sexually assaulting her,” said the president of a city-based NGO for children.
The NGO has demanded that the authorities should book a case against the man and rescue the girl.
