BHUBANESWAR: Close on the heels of the assault on an elderly woman by a police official at Nimapara in Puri district, a similar incident has now been reported from Bhubaneswar.
In the latest incident, two young girls have been allegedly thrashed by Nayapalli police in Odisha capital Bhubaneswar.

Though Nayapalli police refuted such allegations, Police Commissioner Y.B. Khurania on Saturday said appropriate action would be taken after a detailed inquiry into the incident.
As per allegations, there was a clash between two groups over land dispute.
