Hyderabad: SHE Team of Hyderabad nabbed a stalker for harassing a woman by forcibly snatching her cell phone and threatening her with dire consequences by showing a knife at Khairatabad on Thursday night.
According to police, the accused, identified as Paul Sunder Raj, had been harassing and following the woman since 2013 when he had proposed her and she declined. “They were together in Medak where he first proposed her and she rejected after which he started to stalk her. She moved to Hydera-bad but he followed her and used to harass her by asking her to marry him,” Addition-al Commissioner of Police Hyderabad, Swati Lakra, said.
“Learning that the victim’s marriage was fixed, the accused started threatening her with a knife saying that if she marries, he will kill her and her husband and commit suicide,” added Ms. Lakra.
The victim managed to call the SHE Team who arrived at the spot and caught the accused and took him to Saifabad Police Stat-ion. A case was registered against him.
