Cheating: CBI raids Hyderabad based infrastructure firm

CBI had registered a case against VNR Infrastructures Ltd, based in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, based on the complaint by IFCI Ltd.

Bengaluru: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday raided the premises of a Hyderabad based infrastructure firm here in Shivajinagar in a cheating case.

CBI had registered a case against VNR Infrastructures Ltd, based in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, based on the complaint by IFCI Ltd.

The CBI raided VNR Managing Director V. Narayana Reddy, Director, Chief Finance Officer, five other companies based at Hyderabad and Pune.

It is alleged that the firm had applied for loans to the tune of Rs 190 crore and defaulted.
