Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation expels two data entry operators

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has expelled two data entry operators and four health assistants of Circle No. 15 & 18 for their involvement in generating fake birth certificates. Once the matter was exposed in the media, an investigation has been ordered by the GHMC.

During the investigation carried out by Rachakonda police, it was noticed that the outsourcing data entry operator and the sub registrars, of Circle. No.l5 & 18 were involved in the generation and issuance of fake birth certificates through the Mee Seva Center at West Manedpally, Chintal and Jeedimella areas by accepting bribes of Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,000 per certificate, for individuals without any documentary evidences.

The Rachakonda police arrested the two data entry operators and four health assistants of Circle. No. l5 & l8 The GHMC on receipt of the FIR report expelled health assistant Kannarao (Alwal Circle), Raju, Ramakrishna, Bapu Naidu ( Circle 18 ), Nani Babu (Qutbullapur) and data entry operators Bhanu Prakash of (Qutbullapur) and Kiran Kumar ( Secunderabad) their work assigned through the existing agencies with immediate effect.
