Hyderabad: An 18-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging following an argument with his father on Wednesday afternoon at SR Nagar. The deceased was identified as R. Chinna, a daily-wage worker. “Chinna’s father Mahesh, is an alcoholic. He had sold Chinna’s mobilephone to get money to liquor. The duo had been having heated arguments over the missing phone,” SR Nagar inspector Md. Waheeduddin said. “Upset over losing his phone and the issues with his father, Chinna ended his life,” Mr Waheeduddin. said. A case has been registered under IPC Section 309 (suicide) and police is investigating.
