Hyderabad: Police arrested an M.Tech student and his associate involved in several house burglary cases and seized 13 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 1.5 lakh net cash, total items worth of Rs 5.4 lakhs from their possession on Tuesday.
The arrested were identified as Mohd Salahuddin Khan, 19, a bike mechanic from Tolichowki, and Mirza Muqeem Baig alias Zeeshan, 23, an MTech student of VIF College in Gandipet, also residing in Tolichowki. The duo targeted a house of a retired government employee.
