Hyderabad: 3 killed in separate road accidents

Hyderabad: Three persons were killed in two separate road accidents in the city outskirts on Sunday. In one incident at Medchal, two siblings were killed and in another incident a mason was killed at Manchal.

Balisetty Goud, 43, and Srinivas Goud, 40, both residents of Maisireddypally run a dairy farm. On Saturday evening, they came to the city to deliver milk at Sanathnagar and were returning home late at night.

At about 1 am, when their scooter reached Rekulabavi area, an SUV heading towards Toopran rammed their scooter from the rear at high speed.

Balisetty and Srinivas fell on the road and suffered bleeding injuries. Balisetty died on the spot while Srinivas died while being shifted to a hospital in an ambulance, said Medchal sub-inspector K. Ganesh.

The S-I said that the SUV driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. A case has been registered under Section 304 A of IPC and a team is searching for the driver. In another accident in Manchal, Gopi, a mason, was heading home when a car hit his bike from the opposite direction. Gopi, 25, was killed on the spot.

He was working as a mason, said Manchal inspector B Anudeep.
