45 applications of farmers requesting that land details be uploaded online were found inside her official vehicle during searches.

Hyderabad: Keshampet tahsildar V. Lavanya, who has been arrested by the ACB in a bribery case, held back 11 passbooks of farmers as they could not pay the bribe amount she demanded, according to the ACB. Out of the 11, four date back to 2018.

Besides this, 45 applications of farmers requesting that land details be uploaded online were found inside her official vehicle during searches. It is suspected that the officer held back these applications as well. In one of the biggest crackdowns on the Revenue department, the ACB seized Rs 93.5 lakh in unaccounted cash and 400 grams of gold from the Hayathnagar residence of Ms Lavanya on Wednes-day.
