Hyderabad: Wanaparthy tahsildar B. Mallikarjun Rao was caught red handed accepting bribe of Rs 1. 5 lakh in return of an official favour.
The sleuths of ACB trapped the accused at a hotel near Kothakota when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 1. 5 lakh to do a favour which is to initiate action against G. Pradeep who purchased agricultural land at Apparala and damaged the bund of a nearby tank.
