Hyderabad: A karate trainer of TIME play school in Subhashnagar of Alwal was booked for caning a Class 4 student on her left thigh, the police said.
After the student, P. Rutika, informed her parents, they inquired with the school management and lodged a complaint against the trainer, G. Kalyan. Later, they also staged a protest on the school premises, demanding his suspension.
“Based on the complaint lodged by Rutika’s parents on Saturday, we registered a case under Juvenile Justice Act and 324 of IPC,” G. Ramulu, sub-inspector of Alwal police, said.
