MAHABUBABAD: In a shocking incident, a father, working as a constable with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Mumbai, killed his two kids at Gaddigudem thanda in Mahabubabad district on Tuesday morning.
Accused Ram Kumar, a resident of the thanda, fell in love with Shirisha of the same village 10 years ago and married her. They had a daughter Amy Jackson (8) and son Johny Besto (6). As his job kept him away from his family, Ram Kumar started suspecting his wife’s fidelity. They ended up quarrelling frequently.
Three days ago, Ram Kumar returned to his native place from Mumbai. On Monday evening, he entered into a quarrel with Shirisha following which she left for her mother’s house the same night, leaving the children with Ram Kumar.
On Tuesday morning, Ram Kumar took his son and daughter on his bike to the nearby fields, threw them into a well and vanished from the place. Subsequently, locals discovered the bodies of the kids in the well and informed police.
Police have fished out the bodies and found them to be of Jackson and Besto. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
Family members of Shirisha have lodged a complaint with police against Ram Kumar alleging he had killed the kids. Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for Ram Kumar, who is absconding.
