Hyderabad: An agriculturist was killed and four others suffered injuries when the SUV they were travelling in rammed into a tree at Yacharam on Friday morning.
Yacharam sub-inspector B. Venkataiah said G. Anil Kumar Chowdhary, 39, a native of Manikonda in Guntur lives in Miyapur. On Friday morning, Anil along with his two children and his friend’s wife and daughter were on their way to his native place when the SUV met with an accident.
The S-I said that when the car reached Thakkellapalli road, Anil who was behind the wheel, could not control the speeding car and rammed into a tree. He suffered severe injuries to his chest and other parts of his body and died on the spot, while the others escaped with minor injuries.
A case has been registered and the body was handed over to his family members, the S-I added.
