Bengaluru: Speeding car kills biker
The Yelahanka traffic police have arrested the accused car driver.
Bengaluru: A 21-year-old biker died on spot when a speeding car hit his vehicle near KIA road in Yelahanka traffic police station limits on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sahadev Reddy, a native of Andhra Pradesh. The pillion rider, Sunil, 21 was rushed to the hospital and is said to be out of danger. Both worked as contractors at a private company.
According to the police, the accident took place around 9 am on a service road next to KIA road, when they were heading to office.
They were rushed to the hospital, where Sahadev was declared brought dead. The Yelahanka traffic police have arrested the accused car driver, Ezhil Venu, 46, who worked as customs superintendent at the airport.
