Tirupati: A jail inmate has committed suicide by hanging himself in Darsi sub-jail of Prakasam district on early hours of Sunday. K. Ramesh, 21, hanged himself to a window in the washroom. Jail inmates observed him and informed the officials. He was shifted to hospital, where he was declared dead. He was sent to Darsi sub-jail on judicial remand after he was caught in a robbery. The superintendent of Darsi sub-jail, K. V. Vasantha Rao said that Ramesh was depressed with cases. His family members expressed doubts over his death.
