Bengaluru: Man sets wife ablaze over domestic issue

BENGALURU: A man allegedly set his wife ablaze following a scuffle over a domestic issue on Saturday evening in Rajagopalnagar police station limits.

The deceased has been identified as Shobha, 26, a resident of Rajagopalnagar. She was married to Chennakeshawa, a daily wage worker, about 10 years ago.

 

According to the police, the couple used to have frequent fights for the past few years. On Saturday evening they fought and Chennakeshawa poured kerosene on his wife and burnt her alive at his residence.

The neighbours rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead. The Rajagopalnagar police have registered a case and have arrested the accused.
