Hyderabad: State Task Force team of prohibition and excise police seized 105 grams of cocaine and nabbed a woman drug peddler at Gowliguda, Hyderabad. It was the second biggest crack down within a span of 10 days when more than 100 grams of cocaine was seized.
On credible information, the officers nabbed the accused Anamika, hailing from Benguluru, who was in illegal possession of 105 grams of cocaine.
V. Vivek, assistant prohibition and excise superintendent said, “During inquiry we found that the accused had procured the cocaine from an African national who was living in Bangalore and was about to sell it to customers in the city.”
According to police, the accused was waiting for customers to deliver the parcel of cocaine. She confessed that she came to the city three times earlier on similar job and returned to Benguluru.
