Bengaluru: The Hulimavu police have formed a special team to arrest the man who had sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl at his residence.
The man, identified as Kiran, has been booked under POCSO Act after his wife along with the parents of the victim approached the police and lodged a complaint.
Kiran and his wife were staying close to the victim’s house. The victim regularly visited Kiran’s house to talk with his wife and during the course she got familiar with Kiran.
Kiran and his wife fought frequently and she used to go off to her parents’ house whenever the fight turned bitter. During his wife’s absence, Kiran used to call the victim to his house and sexually assault her.
Kiran’s wife got to know about her husband’s behaviour and met the victim’s parents before approaching the police. Kiran is absconding since the complaint was filed on Saturday evening. The police have launched a manhunt to nab him.
