Hyderabad: Mystery shrouds the death of two elderly couple, whose bodies were found abandoned on Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) median, under BDL - Bhanur police station limits, in Sangareddy.
After a disappointing probe that lasted for 10 days, to establish the identity of the deceased couple, the police buried the bodies. Their viscera and DNA details were stored, suspecting this to be a murder case.
On July 5, an ORR police patrolling team noticed the bodies of a man in early 70s and a woman in her late 60s, lying on the median near Velimela village in Bhanur.
“Teams were sent to Maharashtra and Karnataka, with photographs of the deceased couple, to find if any missing cases were registered, but this was not helpful. We have searched the footage of CCTV cameras on the Outer Ring Road, entry and exit points, and the service roads leading to ORR, but the visuals are not clear,” a police official from BDL-Bhanur police station said..
