Bengaluru: Unidentified miscreants struck at a house in LIC Colony in Jeevan Bima Nagar and decamped with gold jewellery and cash worth Rs 12.50 lakh.
The burglary took place in the house of Sanjay Thapa on 11th Cross, 9th Main in LIC Colony.
Mr Thapa had gone to Tamil Nadu on Friday evening. When he returned on Sunday afternoon, he found the front door lock broken. When he further checked inside he found that the jewellery weighing 280 grams worth Rs 7 lakh and cash of Rs 5.50 lakh missing. He filed a complaint with the Jeevan Bima Nagar police, who are investigating.
