4-yr-old boy missing from MGBS

On checking the CCTV footage, police found a middle-aged man taking Praveen to the other side of the platform

Hyderabad: A four-year-old boy, M. Praveen, reportedly went missing from Platform 44 of the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station, police said on Tuesday. His father, Lakshman, who was reportedly inebriated, asked Praveen to sit on a cement chair and went to the toilet.

The boy had disappeared when he returned, Lakshman told the Afzalgunj police. Lakshman, a stone-cutter residing of Balapur, was taking his son to his hometown town Lakkireddypalli in Kadapa where his wife and Praveen's twin brother stay.

“We received a complaint at 11 pm. We collected the CCTV footage from MGBS and surrounding areas,” Afzalgunj inspector Ravinder Reddy said. On checking the CCTV footage, police found a middle-aged man taking Praveen to the other side of the platform.
