Hyderabad: After dragging TV Actor Balaji to the Banjara Hills police station accusing him of failing to pay the kidney donor for his wife’s treatment, Tollywood actress Sri Reddy on Thursday again accompanied another junior artiste, alleging that she was raped by Sreesanth Reddy, also a junior artiste.
According to the victim, Sreesanth Reddy wooed her promising a career in Tollywood and offered a drink laced with sedatives and raped her. “He also stole Rs 5 lakh cash and gold ornaments from my house after sexually assaulting me while I was unconscious,” she said.
Tension prevailed at Banjara Hills police station when the woman landed there along with Actress Sri Reddy a few female activists, who staged a protest against the Sreesanth Reddy.
Actress Sri Reddy approached us with the allegations and also claimed that she has proof against the junior artiste that he drugged and raped the victim, said inspector at Banjara Hills police station K. Srinivas.
