Jaipur student hangs himself in hostel room

A case has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station under CrPc section 174 (suicide), they said.

Jaipur: The body of a 20-year-old student was on Saturday found hanging from the ceiling of his hostel room in Jaipur, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Shamsher Singh, a second-year student of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Rajasthan University, they said.
He may have taken the extreme step last night, hostel warden M L Sharma said, adding that his body was discovered by other inmates.
Police said Singh had talked to his friends last night before heading to his room.
