Begumpet police arrested a former worker of a jewellery shop in Begumpet for stealing gold ornaments from the shop.
Hyderabad: A speeding scooter driven by drunk youth ran amok in Hasthinapuram injuring a pregnant woman standing on the road side.
Members of the public caught two persons and handed them over to police, while the one riding the scooter fled from the scene. The injured woman was rushed to hospital and is out of danger. The two who were caught and tested for alcohol scored 100 mg dl on the breathalyser test.
