Bengaluru: A 34-year-old mentally unstable man was arrested and released on bail for making obscene gestures at a woman.
The accused, Parvez, is a mechanic. Police said he had gone to MSR Nagar on Jan 5. Around 9 pm, a woman was standing at the compound of her house. Parvez allegedly dropped his pants and made obscene gestures at her.
“She called the police control room. Hoysala patrolling staff rushed to the spot and arrested the accused. He was brought before a magistrate the next morning, and his family members told the magistrate that Parvez was mentally unstable and produced medical reports to prove it. Based on medical grounds, he was granted bail and released,” the police said.
