Bengaluru: A couple and their 11-year-old daughter were found dead at a resort in Kodagu, Karnataka. Police said that it is a suspected case of mass suicide.
In a suicide note left by the family, they said that they were taking the extreme step due to financial difficulty, the police said.
The bodies of Vinod, 43, wife Zubi Abraham, 37, and daughter Johan, 11, were found in the room of a private resort. They belonged to Kottayam in Kerala.
The family checked in on Saturday at the resort located in the hilly region bustling with tourists.
The couple died after killing their daughter, police said. They informed the relatives of the family and are waiting for them to reach Kodagu.
