Hyderabad: 2 minors held for theft
Officials recovered nine cellphones from them and booked them under relevant sections of the IPC.
Hyderabad: Two minors were arrested by SR Nagar police for committing theft of cellphones from residential areas posing as deaf-and-mute person on Saturday. The duo were natives of Tamil Nadu and would approach houses pretending to be deaf and dumb and ask for contribution for their well being, said the police .
“When the inmate called them inside and goes to take money or water, as asked by the minors, they would flee with the cellphones from the house” said the detective inspector of SR Nagar, P. Satish. Officials recovered nine cellphones from them and booked them under relevant sections of the IPC.
