Hyderabad: Deekshith Reddy, a 21-year-old medico, was found dead at his residence in Jeedimetla on Sunday evening. Police suspect that he died by suicide.
Police said that prima facie inquiries revealed that Reddy, a Gandhi Medical College student, was under treatment for health issues for over an year. He had been staying with his mother and sister at Papireddynagar. His father has seperated from the family a few years ago.
On Sunday evening, his mother and sister went to a nearby temple. When they returned, they found his body.
On a complaint from the family, Jagathgirigutta police registered a case and started an investigation, said station house officer K. Kranthi Kumar.
