Bengaluru: A flower vendor was allegedly killed by miscreants using a boulder in Subramanyapura police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagyamma (45), a resident of 7th Cross, Doddakallasandra. Police suspect the incident occurred around three days ago and her decomposed body was found at her residence in Doddakallasandra.
Bhagyamma used to sell flowers at K.S. Layout and hailed from Malavalli near Mandya.
Police said when she did not turn up for last three days, other vendors grew suspicious and alerted her brother Narayana.
When Narayana tried to contact Bhagyamma, her phone was switched off. He then visited her residence on Wednesday and was shocked to see her body in a decomposed state.
Police suspect the miscreants may have killed Bhagyamma three days ago. Subramanyapura police have registered a case and begun investigation.
