SIT to track killer through Aadhar

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the rape and murder of the 30-year-old dalit woman will inspect aadhar documents in an effort to track the attacker. This will be done by matching the fingerprint samples collected from the crime scene with all available aadhar fingerprints.

“We'd collected two sets of fingerprints from the victim's house. We will verify these with that of UIDAI records. A team is headed to UIDAI's regional office in Bengaluru for it," sources said.
