Chennai: Depression due to a dispute with his wife, a 34-year-old man committed suicide at his residence in Madipakkam on Friday.
According to the police, the incident occurred late on Friday night and the deceased was identified as Mohan Kumar, 34 a software engineer from a private firm in Velachery. “After work, he came home, and at around 10.40 pm on Friday and allegedly picked up a fight with his wife. As the argument intensified, he locked the door of his room and allegedly committed suicide.
The victim was married to Priya, 30, three years ago and the couple have a daughter. Madipakkam police registered a case and are probing.
