They could not collect any chance prints or fingerprints of the suspects from the gunny bags in which the chopped body was packed.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police appear to have made a breakthrough in the brutal murder of a pregnant woman that occurred at Kondapur 10 days ago.

After analysing various clues, police suspect two persons may have carried out the murder. However, the identity of the deceased was still not known.

“We hope to identify the suspects in four days,” said an official. Senior investigating officials said they had got a few very important leads in the case which might help them trace the suspects.

“We cannot give any details at this stage. But one thing is clear that only two persons were involved in the case,” they said.

They could not collect any chance prints or fingerprints of the suspects from the gunny bags in which the chopped body was packed.

“After killing the woman, the suspects chopped up the body and allowed the blood to drain out completely. They then packed the body parts in bags and cleaned them,” another official said.

“It is confirmed that the woman did not belong to either of the two Telugu states. We are now depending on the data of missing pregnant woman in the northern states,” the official said.
