Visakhapatnam: A woman, with the support of her husband, bouldered her father to death and severely injured her stepmother at Nehru Nagar under Malkapuram police station limits in the city late on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as K. Appala Naidu while the accused were M. Devi and her husband M.V. Ramana. While Appala Naidu died on the spot after sustaining fatal injuries to his head, his second wife K. Parvathi suffered injuries.
Police said that Naidu lost his first wife two decades ago and married Parvathi later. He had two sons and one daughter from his first wife and no issues from the second marriage.
Naidu was having a property dispute with his daughter Devi that led to Devi and Ramana develop a grudge against Naidu and Parvathi. On Monday night, there was a heated quarrel between them and in a fit of rage Devi and Ramana beat Naidu to death and injured Parvathi. Both the accused were arrested.
