Hyderabad: 2 AIMIM workers attack congress worker, nabbed

The Nampally police have identified the accused as Mujju alias Mujeeb and Tillu alias Nayab.

Hyderabad: A group of AIMIM party workers attacked a Congress woman who contested as a GHMC Corporator from the Congress party on Wednesday night. The police registered a case against two persons, arrested the accused and booked a case of outraging modesty.

The Nampally police have identified the accused as Mujju alias Mujeeb and Tillu alias Nayab.

 

According to the Nampally police police, the woman, identified as Ayesha Farheen, along with her husband Ashfaq were going to meet a relative in Bazaarghat. A group of persons believed to be AIMIM party workers attacked them and injured them. The victim Ayesha Farheen then lodged a complaint at the Nampally police station.

A. Subash Chandra Bose, Inspector of police, Nampally said, “Based on the complaint, the  Nampally police registered a case under Sections 354 355 and  506 of IPC.
