Bengaluru: A scuffle between two cousins took an ugly turn with one of them being seriously injured as the other, along with his friends, launched an attack on him with lethal weapons near Garuda Mall in Ashok Nagar police limits on Tuesday night.
A rowdy, Subhash, was working at a flower shop when his cousin Appu and his six friends attacked him. Subash was seriously injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is being treated.
The police said that a few months ago, Subhash had attacked Appu over a property dispute and was jailed. He came out on bail recently and started working at the flower shop. Appu, who was waiting for Subhash to come out of the jail to avenge the attack, struck on Tuesday night. The attackers had come prepared with lethal weapons, and left Subash in a pool of blood after the attack. The Ashoknagar police, who rushed to the spot, registered a case and arrested all the seven accused, including Appu.
