VIJAYAWADA: The student who went missing in River Krishna was found dead nearly seven kilometres away from the place where he slipped into the river along with two friends near Pushkar ghat at Sitanagaram of Tadepalli in Guntur district on Tuesday.
According to Tadepalli police, the deceased was identified as Nimmagadda Nagarjuna, 19, and his body was handed over to his parents after post-mortem.
On Monday, four students of KLU arrived at the ghat and of them three slipped into the river. Two were rescued by the locals while the third one went missing.
