Hyderabad: A 26-year-old man who killed his father because he didn’t give money to buy liquor was convicted by a court at LB Nagar on Thursday. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment.
Hayatnagar police said the convict, C. Ramesh, 26, bore a grudge against his father who had thrown him out of the house due of his addiction and because he had misbehaved with his mother.
The case was registered against at the Hayath-nagar police station on July 3, 2016, by his brother Saraiah.
The police said that on the day of the incident, Ramesh picked up a quarrel with his parents for not giving money to buy alcohol.
He hit his father with a brick, killing him on the spot.
