Hyderabad: Unable to bear the alleged harassment of her techie husband, a woman hanged her 18-month-old son and then hanged herself from the ceiling at her house under LB Nagar police station limits.
Police identified the victims as Sujatha, 27, the wife of T. Raja Shekar, and their son Naineesh.
Police said Shekar left home and returned at about noon to find his wife and son dead.
LB Nagar sub-inspector V. Ravi Kumar said Sujatha was reportedly facing harassment from her husband. The SI said that based on a complaint from her brother Yadagiri, who lives in Secunderabad, a case has been registered against Raja Shekar, a software professional, for domestic violence and abetment to suicide.
The bodies were handed over to the family after autopsy and further investigation is on.
