Hyderabad: Two including nigerian held with 12 gm cocaine
Hyderabad: Excise officials on Saturday busted a drug racket and arrested two suspects, one of them being a Nigerian national. Twelve grams of cocaine was recovered from the two suspects.
The main suspect, Mohammed Jishan Ali Khan, 27, is an event manager and founding partner of ‘F Productions’, an event management company. The officials say that Jishan used to manage high profile events like Nikhi Chinnappa’s (of MTV fame) gigs in Hyderabad.
The second suspect, Bernard Wilson, a Nigerian national, who claimed that he was a student of BCA, in Osmania University, is the main peddler in the racket, say the police.
“Based on a tip-off, we arrested Jishan Ali Khan outside new ITC Kakatiya Hotel. His confession revealed the details of his Nigerian aide, Wilson. We got five grams of cocaine from Jishan, and 7 grams of cocaine from Wilson,” said A. Ajay Rao, Deputy Commissioner, Excise Department.
“Wilson used to get the cocaine in bulk via a private courier service from another Nigerian friend abroad. We are still investigating about the place from where exactly the drug was being sent from,” said Mr Rao.
Wilson, who is staying in India on an expired visa, was once arrested by Golconda police in 2012 for another drug case.
