Hyderabad: Central Crime Station of Hyderabad arrested three persons on Tuesday who duped over seven victims for lakhs of rupees on the pretext of selling commodities for them. The arrested accused persons were identified as Vishal Agarwal, Sunil Kumar Agarwal and Anand Kumar Goel.
Based on a complaint lodged by Sanjay Kumar Mulage, 35, one of the victims and manager at Maniyar Refinery Pvt. Ltd in Attapur, Rajendernagar, the officials started the investigation. The victims were businessmen dealing in edible oils, pulses and soaps. Vishal Agarwal, the proprietor VK Agencies at Feelkhana at Begum Bazar, with Sunil and Anand as sleeping partners, bought goods on credit. Vishal and Anand purchased edible oils, pulses and soaps in large quantity from Sanjay and others on credit for which Vishal gave cheques but the cheques bounced for no cash. The accused committed cheating to the tune of Rs 1.20 crore. They later they wind up their business and were absconded.
